The Grambling University National Alumni Association, Inc. (GUNAA) has four main goals in its mission: recruiting students who will attend Grambling State University (GSU); influencing community and governmental activities that will support the GSU's priorities; raising and giving funds to GSU that will support it's programs; & doing those things that perpetuate a positive image of the GUNAA and GSU. Accomplishing these goals requires GUNAA recruits alumni and others who will support the University and its goals through membership in the GUNAA.  Most importantly, by becoming a paid member, you are paying it forward for the next generation of Tigers. You are also doing your part to ensure that GSU remains the top choice for students seeking higher education.

There are many reasons to join Grambling University National Alumni Association including discounts to alumni activities and receiving advance communication about the Grambling State University. Other reasons include:

• Leadership skills are valuable tools in several areas of our lives from work to community service to home. The alumni chapter is always in need of skilled officers to guide the organization as well as committee chairmen to lead important projects. The skills you build with us can last a lifetime.

• GUNAA provides a valuable opportunity to serve the university and our community by raising money for scholarships and other university projects, recruiting quality students, influencing legislation that will support the University, and just saying and doing things that promote a positive image of GSU.

• Success often is not determined by what you know, but by who you know. Tigers s are diverse, powerful, and influential people. By attending alumni functions you have the opportunity to interact with fellow Tigers who can help you find a job, develop your career, or generate business opportunities for your current job. Any given gathering you might meet a Tiger who can help you buy a house, invest your money, or find a spouse.
