The time has come to forge a new path with the unwavering support of our members. Our members deserve clear and effective leadership. Leadership that embodies the principle of “Moving Forward Together.”

Leadership that collaborates with the current administration of Grambling State University. My team will actively engage with the current administration, facilitating in-person meetings and building new partnerships between the administration and alumni. We aim to share our ideals and establish an alumni association that will enhance the university’s outreach efforts in recruitment and branding.

Rebuilding our brand is imperative. We must operate GUNAA as a cohesive unit, ensuring that each chapter adheres to the national office’s guidelines. My team will establish a compliance team composed of volunteer alumni, including an attorney, to provide recommendations to the board and present them to the body. Additionally, we will revise our policies and procedures with a dedicated team that will address these standards. While transparency is a key principle, our team will be open to support, suggestions, and best practices. We are committed to fostering a harmonious relationship with our partners and alumni. We will train staff to be helpful and proactive in supporting your needs.

We will establish clear policies for every member of the board, ensuring respect for your time and proactive assistance in resolving your issues. We will follow up with you, valuing your time.

As we strive to achieve our goals, we will work diligently and play even harder. We will establish an active social media team and page, focusing on all members of the alumni association. We will demonstrate our commitment to being the best alumni and provide ongoing support. We will link our chapters into this process, sharing events where alumni can support and volunteer. We will encourage networking within our alumni chapters and within the communities they serve.

I am dedicated to earning your trust and am eager to collaborate with you in rebuilding our brand, our alumni, and our unwavering commitment to the future of Grambling State University. This can be accomplished when we move forward together.
